Traveling with Pets
- All pets require a boarding pass for travel that will be issued at departure.
- Dogs and cats only up to 30 pounds are allowed.
- Pets must be contained in guest provided carrier for duration of travel.
- Pets are not allowed to roam the vessel, even on a leash.
- The carrier may be hard or soft sided but must be leak proof and well ventilated.
- Only one pet per carrier permitted.
- Pet strollers are prohibited.
- Pets are prohibited from being placed in seats, atop tables or in aisles.
- Pets must not exhibit any disruptive behavior compromising the safe enjoyment of passengers, crew or other pets. Key West Express reserve the right to refuse travel to pets at its sole discretion and without liability thereto.
- You certify that your pet/service animal is up to date on all vaccinations and fit for travel. You accept liability for your pet/service animal by reserving travel. Key West Express does not accept liability for the health and well being of pets/service animals.
Bringing Your Bicycle
- There is a bicycle accommodation limit.
- Bicycles require a boarding pass for travel that will be issued at departure.
- Passengers release Key West Express of all liability for loss or damage to bicycles. A general release waiver is required prior to travel.
- Standard traditional full-size bicycles only are allowed aboard vessel. Recumbent, tandem and special bicycles are not allowed.
- E-bikes, motorized bikes or any type of scooter or battery operated device is prohibited.
- All saddlebags, handlebar bags, baskets and panniers, trailers are not allowed.
- Bicycles will be stored on the exterior designated area of the vessel, exposed to elements of travel. Passengers are responsible for supplying their own cords and locking devices.
- Folding bicycles (bicycles specifically designed to fold up into a compact assembly) smaller than 34″ x 15″ x 48″ are allowed onboard. Passenger is required to have bicycle folded and in its box labeled with name and phone number prior to boarding.
Each passenger is permitted 2 carry-ons free of charge.
Carry-on size is not to exceed 22″x14″x9″. Over-sized pieces up to 27″x14″x9″ will incur a fee. Any items exceeding size restrictions are prohibited.
